Clear Exteriors initially appealed to me because their promotional material was the only one that fully outlined their process – setting expectations. Ours was a 4 bedroom single house with a 24 year old roof. My primary contact from Clear Exteriors was Nick, who was very upbeat and professional. He worked with me during my home insurance claim process. Nick coordinated with the insurance examiner and contractor to be present during multiple roofing inspections, and to provide additional information where needed. I thought he was responsive and did a thorough job to help me finalize my claim. The roofing materials Clear Exteriors offers are state of the art GAF - we opted for their high quality asphalt shingles. The roof was installed quickly (1.5 days) despite the threat of rain. Note: Clear Exteriors also has an A+ accreditation rating with the Better Business Bureau. We are very happy with our new roof! I highly recommend Clear Exteriors Roofing.

I cannot recommend Clear Exteriors highly enough. Phil and Zach, the two brothers who own the company, stopped by one day offering a free roof inspection and spotted wind damage to our shingles. We have a large home, over 8,300 sq. ft., with a 23-year-old roof. We weren't experiencing leaks and hadn't been planning a replacement, but I knew the roof was nearing the end of its life, so I let them take a look. From that point on, they handled everything. They contacted our insurance company, scheduled and met the adjuster, and walked the roof with her. When the initial claim was declined, Phil and Zach didn't give up. They filed an appeal with detailed photos and the insurance company sent a second adjuster who fully approved the claim. Clear Exteriors replaced our entire roof with a new 40-year warranty roof backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty. They even took care of some additional items that came up during the project without being asked. What impressed me most is that Phil and Zach managed the entire process from start to finish, inspection, insurance coordination, appeal, installation, and cleanup. They were professional, polite, and genuinely invested in getting the right outcome for us. I never had to chase anyone down or wonder what was happening next. If you're in the Chester County area and need exterior work, call Clear Exteriors. These guys are the real deal.

We previously had Clear Exteriors install a new roof and gutters after storm damage and had a great experience. Stephen and Phil were extremely responsive and worked with our insurance carrier to see all the required repairs were covered in excess of the carrier’s estimate. The winter storm this year left us with damage to some soffits and fascia. I sent pictures to Stephen and heard back immediately. He had a crew out to our house as soon as the snow melted from the roof. I highly recommend Clear Exteriors!!!

The work was done in one day. Everything was cleaned up and left in order. We are very happy with the results and the great customer service.

These guys bailed me out during the recent snow/ice storm (Feb 2026). We had an ice dam in several spots on our roof and gutters causing water to get under the shingles and into the house. They responded promptly and were able to break loose 6 inch thick piles of ice in several sections on the roof and cleared completely frozen gutters. The leaks in the house stopped when they cleared the jams. They were the only roofing company that responded to my calls and I'm not sure what I would have done if they didn't come out! They now have a customer for life. Thanks again to Nick for being on the ladder for 4 hrs in freezing weather and for Steve responding to my call so quickly. Frank M

They were excellent. Very helpful. After my new roof, I noticed a leak on the ceiling. They came over a few times and went up on the roof but couldn't find the leak. They then went into the attic to see that it was actually a leaking pipe from the HVAC. Top notch.

We had damage to our home due to a hail storm in May of 2025.. Clear Exteriors worked with our insurance company to allow for our replacements and repairs.. the workers were very hard working and very respectful. They came…started the job… and worked away at it… The work itself was done professionally and in a timely manner. Our home looks great… we are still working with you and our insurance company for our siding replacement because of it being discontinued but I’m sure we will work thru that… Alex has been most helpful in situations.. this was a extremely difficult time because of the number of homes needing repaired as well as the lack of cooperation with the weather.. but know that I would recommend and have recommended Clear Exteriors without a doubt to several others.. The guys at Clear Exteriors did a great job taking care of us after a major hail storm. They were great about communicating, scheduling, and making sure that our insurance was covering everything in the lead up to replacing our roof. The crew they had working our roof did a great job and we are very happy with how it came out. We have also had a lot of compliments from neighbors, and also have had some neighbors say they wish they would have used the same people we did. There were also a few neighbors who asked us for the contact information and used them. When they were done, they did a great job of taking care of our property and landscaping and cleaning up after their work. We didn't really find nails when they were done. In our large neighborhood, after a pretty major storm, there were a lot of different companies doing work. Many of the others had nails everywhere including on the road. We walk and bike ride around our neighborhood a lot and didn't see nails by the houses that Clear Exteriors did work at. Other companies were a different story. There were nails everywhere and neighbors complaining about the cleanup they had to do from other companies work. We highly recommend Clear Exteriors. Hopefully we don't need a new roof again for a long time, but anyone who asks, they are who we would recommend.

Update: I got a call back on Sunday morning and the owner couldn’t have been more awesome! He came out right away and addressed all of my concerns and they fixed everything! Everything!! This is the type of business that I can stand behind! My roof is absolutely beautiful now and everyone I dealt with here was wonderful. Several of my friends used them and are all happy! The issue was with whoever they had used to do the metal roof and not clear exteriors. I’m so happy with my roof now! I'II start by saying the sales people are very pleasant. They communicated well and really were helpful. However, I chose to upgrade my porch roof to metal as an accent piece. the workmanship of this roofing job is so bad I could honestly just cry. They broke a bunch of pieces of my siding and trim, bent up my facia, cut into my stonework to install unnecessary, crappy bent/crooked trim pieces (that I told them I didn't want), broke my grout between my stone, broke my hand railing on my basement stairs... I could go on & on. No one even mentioned any of it, I had to discover it on my own & then call. They came out to fix the metal roof parts today, but I was at work. I came home to find even more poor workmanship. I feel the integrity of the people doing the job should have been such that they fixed/replaced what was broken without trying to partially cover it up thinking I wouldn't notice. Who does that? Honestly, they shouldn't have broken it to begin with. Now there are quite a few places they left broken or did incorrectly and water is going to get into and destroy my home. I contacted them when I got home, but no one responded. It’s Saturday afternoon. I'll see what they say/do on Monday and l'Il update my review if it gets resolved.

A roofing company after inspection suggested that there is damage that needs fixing, and I was prepared to get this done by paying myself. I requested this team to examine and give me a quote to fix it. This team in an hour completed the examination and suggested that no repairs are needed. They could have easily made some money. Just Wow. Alex and his partner looked at my roof after a hail storm and was so detailed in what they found. Chalked out everything and took pictures to show me everything up there. Phil and team were able to diagnosis the problem of my roof install (done by another company) on the first visit and offer potential remedies in order to fix the situation. They were able to fix the area where I was having issues with a leak and I haven’t had any issues since which is a huge relief for us. Will reach out again for any future issues

Working with Chris and his team was a great experience. Chris really help us navigate the claims process with our insurance company. He stood by our side through the whole process and was able to turn what was originally a claim approval for only two sections of our roof approved for replacement to the entire roof. His knowledge and experience of his trade really showed through. Once the claim was fully approved, his team moved quick. Within weeks we were able to select, procure and install the new roof. We knew we needed to replace our roof soon, but it was going to be a big expense. Phil stopped by after a hail storm and let us know that we might qualify for some assistance from insurance. After I started the claim, he stayed involved in the damage assessment and estimation process with the insurance company and then he and his crew executed the project with great quality and professionalism. We have a very large roof, but the crew pushed through to complete the job in just one day. Phil was present much of the time and I had great confidence that the details would be taken care of. We had a few followups to finish installing a new skylight and bathroom fans and every member of the crew was professional. Phil refused to take any part of the balance of payment until all the little details were complete even though that took a couple weeks due to weather and schedule conflicts on our side. I would 100% recommend working with Clear Exteriors!

Originally, I was working with AquaSeal Storm Repair who were going no where with my roof replacement. They did not seem to understand what to do. It’s so hard to find a good and honest roofer out there. Chris and Zack from Clear Exteriors Roofing/Siding replaced our roof on October 2023. There was always management on the site to inform me about the plan and to instruct their team adequately. Our roof turned out spectacular and we were amazed how efficient they were. Replacing a roof due to hail damage is a bummer. Fortunately, I was well supported by my insurance company. But the real assurance came when I started to work with Clear Exteriors LLC (CE), the roof replacement company. Communication is a big factor for me on any project. I need to understand each step of the process, both technically and financially. CE more then met that requirement. I was well informed on what went into their estimate by Chris, the CE consultant. Early on the day of the roof replacement I meet some of the work team, and Zach, the foreman, kept me apprised of the progress and the issues. (All jobs have pop-up problems. I understand this and was prepared for snags. Some minor catches were discovered on my roof, but as a matter of policy, CE absorbed the expense.) Zach kept the communication going as the job was completed and inspected. Chris followed-up with an inspection of his own. (I was given every opportunity to identify any glitches or disappointments.) After the job was completed, there was a snafu with processing the insurance company’s check. CE worked patiently with me through that issue until I was able to make final payment. Altogether I had a great experience with CE and would wholeheartedly recommend their services to my friends and neighbors.

I could not be happier with my experience with Clear Exteriors from start to finish. The communication and responsiveness is off the charts. The work was top notch and highly professional. On the day and a half when my roof and gutters were being replaced there was always a supervisor on site overseeing the process and answering any questions I had. That alone is a huge differentiator. The cleanup was excellent. As happens sometimes on big jobs there were a couple things that needed to be addressed afterwards. CE addressed them ASAP without delay. Look, things happen, you have to expect that. But it’s the response to those things that make a company great, and CE is a GREAT company to do business with.

Highly recommend Clear Exteriors! We were visited by another roofing company a few months ago who indicated there were storms in the area and our roof may have suffered damage. They checked the roof, said they saw damage but never followed up. Phil and Steven from Clear Exteriors came by and mentioned the same storm and asked if they could take a look at the roof. Phil went up and checked, taking pictures of damaged shingles, gutters and downspouts. Clear Exteriors came back when my insurance company sent the adjuster and accompanied him on the roof. They reviewed the adjuster’s report and made corrections to ensure the new roof was up to code. Three weeks later my new roof was installed in one day. They came back the next day and installed new gutters. Phil and Steven oversaw the construction and followed up afterwards. I cannot imagine how the process could have been easier. Very professional from start to finish.
